Wake up to the sounds of the wild and continue with a morning game drive before traveling northward through the Serengeti. Along the way, enjoy spotting elephants, giraffes, big cats, and migrating herds. Arrive in the Northern Serengeti by late afternoon. If traveling between July and October, you’ll be in the prime area for witnessing the Great Migration Mara River crossings. Dinner and overnight at a camp/lodge in the north.

Full-Day Game Drive in Northern Serengeti
Spend the entire day exploring the Northern Serengeti. If it’s migration season, follow the wildebeest and zebra herds as they attempt dramatic crossings at the Mara River, where crocodiles and predators await. Even outside migration, the north is spectacular with lions, leopards, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing your afternoon game drive. Overnight at your lodge or camp.

Day 4

After breakfast, set off on a final game drive in the north before heading back to Central Serengeti. Stop for wildlife viewing along the way, with chances to see cheetahs hunting, leopards resting in acacia trees, and large herds grazing the plains. Arrive at your central Serengeti camp or lodge for dinner and overnight.

Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Central Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Karatu
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Serengeti before departing toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to the Big Five. Spot elephants, lions, buffalo, hippos, flamingos, and if lucky, the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend the rim and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Lake Manyara – Arusha
Lake Manyara – Arusha
After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a scenic park famous for its tree climbing lions, flamingos, elephants, and large baboon troops. Explore its forests, grasslands, and lake shores on a morning game drive. After lunch, continue your safari drive before heading back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon where your safari ends.
