Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up and drive you towards one of Tanzania's most scenic safari destinations, a journey of about 1-2 hours on good roads. The area is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse wildlife, including lions, leopard, giraffes, zebras and many bird species. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing with you game drive. Later in the afternoon, you will head to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will ascend into the highlands of the Ngorongoro conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering from the south.
The Serengeti is world-famous for its endless grasslands and spectacular wildlife. Depending on the season, you may witness the dramatic migration of wildebeests, zebras, antelopes and big five -one of nature's greatest spectacles. Along the way, you will enjoy a picnic lunch before settling for dinner and overnight at a tented camp in the heart of Central Serengeti.

After an unforgettable safari experience, you will continue to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay at a lodge on the crater rim. After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for an thrilling game drive, carrying a long a packed lunch. Later in the afternoon, you will return to Arusha and be dropped at the preferred location or at the airport.

The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as the ''Eighth wonder of the world'' is the largest unbroken volcanic caldera on earth-spanning 20km across, 610 meters deep and covering an area of 300 sq km. This breathtaking natural amphitheater hosts an extraordinary concentration of wildlife. During your exploration, you will visit lake magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, famous for its flocks of flamingos, pods of hippos, and an abundance of other water birds.
