Sote Tours staff will be waiting at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) will meet you and will escort you to the waiting vehicle for loading your luggage then drive you to the Hotel in Arusha. After checking in the hotel, you will get briefing about your next day’s safari.

Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Depart in the morning after meeting your safari guide in the morning, you will leave Arusha to Tarangire National Park. An extensive open savannah, baobab trees, seasonal swamps and the life-giving Tarangire River characterize the landscape of this beautiful national park. Animals gather at the river, as elephants, giraffes, bushbucks and hartebeests can often be seen. You might even be able to spot the fringe-eared oryx or the weird-looking gerenuk. Tarangire is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators including lions. Your safari vehicle has an open roof and is the ideal viewing platform to appreciate the nature and animals around you. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and travel to Karatu town, where you will spend the night.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti

After an early breakfast, we depart for the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater, a true natural wonder often described as a “lost world.” Formed two to three million years ago by the collapse of a massive volcano, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is celebrated for both its breathtaking geology and its extraordinarily dense wildlife populations.
As we descend the winding road into the crater, prepare for a thrilling adventure the views are spectacular, and the anticipation builds as you approach the crater floor. Once inside, you’ll find yourself surrounded by vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle, as well as over 500 bird species. Ngorongoro is one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhino.
After enjoying a packed picnic lunch amidst this awe-inspiring setting, we continue our journey to the legendary Serengeti National Park.

Day 4

After an early breakfast, we embark on an unforgettable morning game drive in the Serengeti, setting off around 6:30 am. We will spend approximately 6 hours exploring this legendary park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. The Serengeti is home to a remarkable variety of species, including impala, buffalo, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is most famous for the Great Migration—a spectacular movement of over 1.5 million wildebeest, 250,000 zebras, and 500,000 antelope following ancient migratory routes in search of fresh grazing.
After this enriching wildlife experience, we begin our scenic journey back to Karatu, arriving in the afternoon. You’ll unwind at our carefully selected mid-range lodge, where comfort meets charm. Enjoy a delicious dinner in an inviting restaurant, relax by the pool, or savor a drink by the fire under the starlit African sky before retiring to your spacious accommodations for a restful night.

Day 5
Karatu to Lake Eyasi
Karatu to Lake Eyasi
As we depart from Karatu, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and the surrounding landscapes. The drive offers picturesque scenes of rolling hills and lush farmland, setting the stage for an exciting day ahead. Upon arrival at Lake Eyasi, you will have the opportunity to meet the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Tanzania. Engage with the community as they share their traditional lifestyle, showcasing their unique hunting techniques and foraging skills. Besides the Hadzabe there is another tribe that lives nearby - the Datogas. The Datogas however are more like the Maasai. They engage in agriculture and are excellent at working with metals after the trip will drive back to Arusha and overnight at The Charity Hotel.
