1-Day Tarangire - Giants of the Savannah Adventure

Your driver-guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Arusha (around 6:00 a.m.) for a scenic 2.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Upon entering the park, the landscape opens into sweeping grasslands dotted with majestic baobab trees. Spend your day exploring the park’s river valleys and open plains, watching elephants stroll between the baobabs, lions resting under acacias, and herds of wildebeest grazing lazily. Enjoy a packed lunch at a scenic picnic site overlooking the Tarangire River, a hotspot for wildlife activity. After a relaxed afternoon drive, begin your journey back to Arusha, arriving by early evening.
