Day 1

Depart Arusha around 6:00 am for the 2.5-hour drive to Machame Gate (1,800m). After a safety briefing and registration, start hiking through the dense rainforest, where moss-covered trees and mist create a magical atmosphere. The trail winds steadily upward, with opportunities to spot monkeys and exotic plants unique to this route. Stop for a picnic lunch midway and continue toward Machame Camp (around 3,000m) before turning back. Enjoy the descent at a relaxed pace with plenty of photo stops. Your driver will meet you at the gate for the return journey to Arusha, arriving by evening.
