No matter what time you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly driver-guide from Visit Tanzania Now Travel will be there to greet you with a warm smile. Sit back and relax in your comfortable safari vehicle as you're taken to your hotel in Arusha, known as Tanzania’s "safari capital."
On the way, you’ll catch your first glimpse of this vibrant city. If time allows, we’ll give you a short safari briefing today. If not, we’ll do it first thing tomorrow morning.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National Park & Cultural Experience

Lake Manyara National Park & Cultural Experience

After breakfast and a safari briefing (if not done the previous day), we’ll head west to Lake Manyara National Park. On the way, we’ll stop at the colorful town of Mto wa Mbu for a morning cultural tour, followed by a delicious local hot lunch.
In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive through Lake Manyara National Park. This beautiful park is known for its birdlife, especially flamingos, and its lush forests filled with monkeys and baboons. Look out for elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas as you explore.
Later in the day, you’ll drive to Karatu, where you’ll check into your cozy lodge for dinner and overnight rest.

After breakfast, we continue our adventure towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive takes us through the scenic highlands of Karatu and into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
As we enter the vast Serengeti plains, you’ll feel the magic of the African wilderness. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way and an afternoon game drive before settling into your lodge or tented camp for the night.

Your guide will help you spot wildlife and share fascinating facts about the park's animals and plants. From wide grasslands to wooded areas, Serengeti offers endless photo opportunities.

Ngorongoro Crater Safari via Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast, enjoy a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. On the way, stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world, where Dr. Louis and Mary Leakey discovered early human fossils.

Then, descend about 600 meters into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day safari with a picnic lunch. The crater is home to around 25,000 animals, including the Big Five lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, and leopards along with gazelles, hippos, hyenas, jackals, and many bird species. In the late afternoon, drive back to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay.
