Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and begin your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Along the way, you’ll enjoy breathtaking scenic views. You will cross the border via either the Kyanika or Katuna border crossing. There’s no need to apply for a Rwandan visa in advance, as it can be obtained upon arrival. In the evening, unwind at your lodge near the forest and rest up for your gorilla trek the following day.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early breakfast and proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing on the do’s and don’ts of gorilla trekking. The rangers will then guide you as you begin the search for the mountain gorillas. Along the way, you’ll also enjoy the park’s rich flora and fauna. After meeting and spending enough time with the gorillas, you will go back to hotel for afternoon rest.

Transfer back to Kigali

After breakfast, you will proceed with your departure back to Kigali, arriving in the early afternoon. Your guide will either drop you off at any hotel or at the Kigali International Airport to catch your flight.
