Kick back and relax in your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Arusha, Tanzania’s self styled ‘safari capital.’ On your journey to the hotel, you will get a brief impression of this large, bustling, commercial city. Depending on your arrival time, you may have your pre safari briefing today; if not, it will take place early tomorrow morning.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
If you didn’t have time for your safari briefing when you arrived yesterday, it will happen after breakfast today. We will give you all the important information before we leave for our first safari at Tarangire National Park.
Your guide will pick you up from the lodge, and you’ll drive through the open Maasai plains. On the way, you might see people walking, taking care of animals, or riding bikes. They often wear bright, colorful clothes.
At Tarangire National Park, you’ll visit the area around the Tarangire River. This river is very important for animals, especially when it’s dry. The park is famous for its big groups of elephants. You can also see giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and many kinds of birds over 500 types! Sometimes, you can also see lions and leopards. Look out for the old baobab trees—they are very big and beautiful! After the safari, you’ll go back to the lodge to relax and enjoy your dinner.

Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater
Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, your safari continues to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is the world’s largest caldera, a feature formed by the collapse of land after a volcanic eruption. It is approximately 18 km in diameter and home to about 25,000 mammals. In this relatively small area you can find almost all the mammals of East Africa ranging from Grant’s and Thomson’s gazelles to mountain
reedbucks in the forests on the slopes. You might also see spotted hyenas, rare wild dogs and some of the more than 500 bird species of the area. It is also possible to spot the Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino and leopard – in the few hours spent in the crater.

Day 4
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara National Park
After breakfast, we will begin the day with a morning cultural visit to a Maasai Boma, where you’ll learn about the traditions and lifestyle of the Maasai people.
Next, we will head to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive. This park is known for its beautiful scenery and rich wildlife. It features a shallow alkaline lake that attracts over 400 species of birds, including flamingos and other water birds.
The park also has forests filled with monkeys and baboons keep an eye out for the long-tailed Guenon monkeys! On the grassy plains, you may see elephants, giraffes, hippos, wildebeests, and impalas.
From the pop-up roof of the safari vehicle, you’ll enjoy amazing views and sounds of nature.
After the game drive, we will begin the journey to Kilimanjaro National Park for departure.
