Arusha to Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at around 8:00 AM and drive to Tarangire National Park, a journey of about 2.5 hours.

Tarangire is known for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and the seasonal Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of animals. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, wildebeests, buffaloes, and many more.

Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park, exploring the beautiful landscapes and spotting wildlife throughout the day.

Later in the afternoon, drive to Ngedere Lodge & Camp for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Back to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the famous Ngorongoro Crater — one of the natural wonders of Africa.

The crater floor offers excellent game viewing opportunities, including the chance to see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and black rhino). You’ll also spot hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and flamingos at the Hippo Pool.

Enjoy a half-day game drive followed by a picnic lunch before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the early evening.
