Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins with a morning departure from Arusha, where you'll travel to Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Upon entering the park, you’ll be immersed in its natural beauty and wildlife, with the chance to enjoy both a morning and afternoon game drive. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of wildlife, including the park’s famous elephants.

A delicious lunch will be served in between your game drives, providing a perfect break as you relax and take in the surrounding landscapes. After your afternoon game drive, you’ll depart the park and head to your lodge for dinner. You’ll have the chance to unwind and reflect on your day before settling in for a peaceful overnight stay.

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues as you depart from Tarangire and journey toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater as you pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes.

Upon arriving at the Serengeti gate, you'll pause for lunch before embarking on an exciting afternoon game drive. As the golden hues of the setting sun bathe the vast savannah, keep your eyes peeled for lions, elephants, cheetahs, and other remarkable wildlife roaming freely in their natural habitat.

Exploring the Serengeti

Start your day early, as the Serengeti comes to life with the first rays of sunlight. After a quick breakfast, head out on a thrilling morning game drive. The vast, open plains are home to an abundance of wildlife, from prides of lions basking in the warmth of the sun to cheetahs sprinting across the savannah.

After the exciting morning, return to camp for a refreshing lunch, followed by some leisure time to relax and take in the surrounding beauty.

In the afternoon, you’ll head back into the park for a second game drive, this time searching for more elusive creatures. You’ll likely spot zebras, giraffes, and buffaloes, and if you’re lucky, perhaps witness a dramatic predator-prey interaction. As we depart from Karatu, you’ll enjoy stunning views of the Great Rift Valley and the surrounding landscapes. Upon arrival at Lake Eyasi, you will have the opportunity to meet the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in Tanzania. Engage with the community as they share their traditional lifestyle, showcasing their unique hunting techniques and foraging skills. Besides the Hadzabe there is another tribe that lives nearby - the Datogas. The Datogas however are more like the Maasai. They engage in agriculture and are excellent at working with metals after the trip will drive back to Arusha airport to take evening flight to Zanzibar.

You’ll be transferred to your accommodation in Nungwi, where you can unwind and relax by the beach for the rest of the day.

Mnemba Atoll and Baraka Aquarium

We will depart in the morning and head to the beach where we’ll take a boat to Mnemba Atoll for an unforgettable snorkeling adventure. This trip offers a chance to explore the vibrant coral reefs and swim among colorful tropical fish. With a bit of luck, you'll also enjoy a magical experience of sighting dolphins in their natural habitat—an incredible highlight of the day!
After our time at Mnemba, we’ll continue to Baraka Natural Aquarium in Nungwi, where you'll get the unique opportunity to swim and interact with sea turtles in a natural lagoon.
Once all activities are completed, we will transfer you back to your hotel for some well-deserved rest.
