Day 1

Nairobi to Maasai Mara

Your safari adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Nairobi, heading west towards the world-renowned Masai Mara Game Reserve. The drive to Masai Mara, traversing scenery of the Great Rift Valley, with a recommendable stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint. You will further drive through Narok town, the last major town before reaching the reserve.

Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you'll be checked into AA lodge Mara. Following lunch at the lodge, you'll proceed for your first afternoon game drive in the Masai Mara. This is an ideal time to view all types of wildlife like lions, elephants, and zebras as animals are more active when the sun is cooling. Dinner and overnight stay at AA Lodge mara.

Day 2

Full day Maasai Mara

The day is spent on a full-day game drive inside the Masai Mara National Reserve to try and see as much wildlife as possible, including all of the "Big Five", and to marvel at the stunning biodiversity of the area. To ensure that you take advantage of the dawn wildlife, you will leave the camp early, taking with you a packed picnic breakfast and lunch.

The Masai Mara is particularly famous for its density of big cats, and the early morning is ideal to spot predators traveling or even witness a hunt. You will go to various parts of the reserve, like the Mara River, where you can spot hippos and crocodiles, and, in case of visiting from mid-July to mid-September, spot some of the amazing wildebeest migration. There is an optional visit to a Maasai village for extra cost to learn about their culture. You will return to AA lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Maasai mara to Lake Nakuru

After a dawn game drive in Masai Mara and breakfast at the lodge, you will begin your trip to Lake Nakuru National Park.

You will check into Lake Nakuru Sopa. After lunch, you will then have a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park in the afternoon. This park is renowned for hosting the largest number of flamingos, who can give the lake a pink hue and black and white rhino sanctuary. You will also have a chance to view other species such as lions, leopards, and birds. Dinner and unwinding will be at Lake Nakuru Sopa.

This is spent exploring the diverse lake ecosystem of Lake Nakuru National Park via an early morning game drive. The focus will be on viewing rhinos and the diverse birdlife within the park. Lake Nakuru is among the best in Kenya to observe black and white rhinos, and there are over 150 of them in the park.

After breakfast at Lake Nakuru, the day will largely involve yet more game drives and exploration within Lake Nakuru National Park in order to interact more with its unique environment. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa.
