The word Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Maasai language — and you’ll see why. Begin your first game drive en route, spotting elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and perhaps your first lion or cheetah.
In the late afternoon, arrive at your safari camp and enjoy the sound of nature under the vast African sky, filled with stars.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to more than 25,000 animals including elephants, hippos, zebras, and lions. With luck, you may spot the endangered black rhino grazing in the misty morning light.
Stop at the hippo pool for a picnic lunch surrounded by incredible scenery. In the afternoon, ascend the crater wall and head to your lodge nestled in the highlands.
