Mwanza to Serengeti National Park

This safari has been curated to offer you the best of East Africa’s wildlife, while also ensuring our comfort, safety, and a relaxed pace that allows us to fully enjoy the safari experience.
Your journey begins in Mwanza, a city located on the shores of Lake Victoria. Within 2 hours, you will be at the western entrance of the Serengeti. You will start spotting wildlife as soon as we enter! This area is renowned for the Grumeti River, the easiest way to spot some of the biggest Nile Crocodiles in the Serengeti. You will come across wildlife, including large herds of wildebeest, zebras, and an abundance of predators like lions and cheetahs.
You will be provided with packed lunch boxes that you can enjoy under a tree whilst enjoying the views. You'll then resume our game drive. As the sun sets, you will celebrate a complimentary sundowner overlooking the plains.

The day will end with a drive to your accommodation for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night's rest.

Serengeti National Park to Mwanza

After breakfast, you can spend a relaxed morning by the pool, soaking in panoramic views of the savannah. This allows you to enjoy a hot lunch at the lodge, prepared with local flavors and a touch of luxury.

In the afternoon, you will begin your leisurely game drive back towards Mwanza, capturing final glimpses of the Serengeti’s beauty — with more sightings of elephants at the river or lions on the move. Arrive back in Mwanza by early evening.

We can choose to do a full-day game drive instead, too!
This schedule of the day can be adjusted if we are catching a flight on the same day from Mwanza.
