Your safari begins in Dar es Salaam, where you’ll take an air transfer to Arusha. Upon arrival, you’ll meet your friendly guide and fellow travelers before setting off on a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Known for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers stunning landscapes and abundant wildlife. Enjoy an exciting game drive, tracking recent animal sightings and searching for lions, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest.
After lunch, continue exploring the park until around 4:30 p.m., then head to your accommodation for dinner and a peaceful evening surrounded by nature.

Materuni Waterfalls

Your day begins with a 40-minute walk to the stunning Materuni Waterfalls. Along the way, your guide will share insights into the Chagga people, their traditions, and the rich flora and fauna of the area. The trail offers beautiful scenery, and on clear days, you may even catch a glimpse of Mount Kilimanjaro’s summit. At the base of the waterfall, admire its impressive 80-meter cascade.
Afterward, return to Materuni village for a traditional Chagga lunch and a taste of the local banana beer. Then, enjoy an engaging coffee tour, where you’ll join in the roasting, grinding, and brewing process accompanied by joyful Chagga songs and dances.
In the afternoon, transfer back to the Airport for your air transfer to Dar es Salaam, marking the perfect end to your unforgettable Tanzanian adventure.
