You will arrive at the airport, and our friendly team will be there to welcome you and take you to your hotel. After your long trip, you can rest and relax. Later, you’ll meet your guide for a short talk about your mountain trek. They’ll explain the route, safety rules, and how to get used to the high altitude. You can also check your gear, and if anything is missing, we can help you rent or buy it. Enjoy a nice dinner and get a good night’s sleep your adventure starts tomorrow!

Day 2

Marangu Gate to Mandara Hut

After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate, the start of your climb. Register, meet your mountain team, and check your gear. Then begin the hike through a green rainforest. Look out for monkeys and bright birds along the way! After about 5 hours, arrive at Mandara Hut. Rest, enjoy dinner, and take a short walk to Maundi Crater for amazing views.

Day 3

Today, you leave the rainforest and walk into open moorland. See big plants and enjoy wide views of the mountains. The air is cooler and dry. After the long walk, arrive at Horombo Hut. Have a warm meal and watch the sunset before going to sleep.

Today is a rest day to help your body adjust to the high altitude. Take a short walk to Zebra Rocks, famous for their black-and-white stripes. Enjoy amazing views of the mountain while your body adapts. Return to Horombo Hut to relax, have a warm meal, and get ready for the next exciting stage of your climb.
