Ngorongoro Crater & Drive Back to Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater & Drive Back to Arusha

After an early breakfast, descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most spectacular natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Spend the morning exploring the crater floor, where you can spot lions, elephants, hippos, buffaloes, zebras, and, with luck, the rare black rhino. The crater’s diverse habitats—grasslands, forests, and swamps—make it one of the best places in Africa for wildlife viewing.

Enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim and driving back to Arusha, arriving in the late afternoon. This marks the end of your short but truly memorable safari adventure.
