Arusha to Serengeti National Park

Farewell Serengeti and Welcome to Rwanda

After a meet & greet, you will be warmly welcomed by our Golden Rwanda Safaris representative outside the customs and immigration hall for a safari briefing and an introduction to your driver-guide. You'll transfer to the Governor’s private residence/Kigali Serena hotel for check-in. Depending on arrival time, you can have a city tour.

Kigali City Tour and Leisure

After breakfast, you'll enjoy a guided city tour of Kigali, where you can visit key attractions such as the Kigali Genocide Memorial, the local markets, and other notable sites. In the afternoon, you'll return to the Retreat for relaxation and leisure time. You may choose to explore the hotel’s amenities or enjoy some downtime at your own pace.

After breakfast, you'll depart Kigali and embark on a 5-6 hour drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park.
Along the way, you may have the opportunity to visit the Nyanza King's Palace and the Ethnographic Museum. Upon arrival, you'll check in and settle into your accommodations at Munazi Eco Lodge. You'll spend the afternoon at leisure or take a short nature walk around the hotel.
