Day 4

After breakfast, drive south toward the lush Materuni Waterfalls, nestled in the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a scenic hike to the falls, where you can cool off in the refreshing mountain waters and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding rainforest. Afterward, take part in a local coffee experience, learning the traditional process of cultivating, roasting, and brewing aromatic Tanzanian coffee — and, of course, savor a freshly made cup straight from the source.
In the afternoon, After the Local Lunch, continue your journey to Arusha, arriving in the early evening. Settle in at your comfortable lodge surrounded by tropical gardens, a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploration.

Spend the day exploring its diverse landscapes — from acacia woodlands and river valleys to open savannahs teeming with wildlife. Keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and a dazzling variety of bird species that make this park so special.
In the late afternoon, continue your journey to Karatu, a charming town located on the edge of the Ngorongoro highlands. Arrive at your lodge in time to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Wake up to the cool morning air of the highlands and set off for an unforgettable adventure in the Ngorongoro Crater, often described as Africa’s Garden of Eden. Descend 600 meters into this breathtaking natural wonder — a vast, unbroken caldera brimming with life. The crater’s floor offers a remarkable diversity of habitats, from open grasslands to acacia forests and sparkling lakes, supporting one of the richest wildlife populations on earth.
Spend the day tracking lions on the prowl, elephants moving gracefully across the plains, hippos wallowing in the pools, and herds of buffalo and zebras grazing nearby. With luck, you may even spot the rare and endangered black rhino, completing your Big Five experience. Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch beside the hippo pool, surrounded by the incredible sights and sounds of the wild.
In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and begin your drive back to Arusha, reflecting on the amazing memories.
