Your thrilling safari adventure with Kilipath Africa Safaris begins today! After a hearty breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 7:40 AM for a scenic 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its enormous elephant herds and ancient baobab trees.

Explore the park in our open-roof safari vehicle, witnessing seasonal swamps, vast savannas, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River. Keep your camera ready for a spectacular array of animals, including graceful giraffes, elegant impalas, zebras, powerful lions, elusive leopards, towering elands, playful warthogs, and the majestic elephants that make Tarangire so iconic.
A delicious picnic lunch will be served at a scenic spot, offering stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. After more exhilarating game viewing in the afternoon, you will drive to Suricata Boma Lodge where a warm dinner and a comfortable overnight stay await, preparing you for the next day of adventure.

Descend into this vast 260 km² caldera for a thrilling game drive, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and possibly the rare black rhino, along with zebras, giraffes, and abundant birdlife.

Today, your adventure begins at 7:30 AM as you drive toward the Kilimanjaro region, passing through the charming Kishumundu villages and lush highlands of Materuni. Enjoy a 45-minute guided hike to the stunning Materuni Waterfall, followed by an authentic coffee-making experience and a taste of traditional Chagga cuisine.

In the afternoon, continue to the serene Chemka Hot Springs, a natural oasis of warm, crystal-clear water where you can relax and even enjoy a gentle “doctor fish” pedicure.
