½-Day Giraffe Sundowners at a Private Game Lodge

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your guide or driver will greet you and transfer you in a 4x4 vehicle from Maun International Airport or your hotel to the Thamo Telele. The estimated travel time is 45 minutes.

Once you arrive, you can start spotting various wildlife such as zebras, springbok, oryx, and eland, as well as possibly hartebeest before you begin your giraffe activity.

It is an up-close giraffe educational experience for visitors that focuses on increasing awareness around nature conservation as well as the plight of giraffes. You’ll learn all about giraffe conservation throughout Africa, as well as how to identify each giraffe by their distinct patterning. Each of them has a Setswana name, and if in doubt there is an identification book for referencing to get it right.
