Depart Kampala early in the morning and drive southwest through Uganda’s scenic countryside, passing rolling hills, lush farms, and lively roadside markets. Stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for photos and a brief coffee break before continuing to Lake Mburo National Park. Arrive around midday, check in at your lodge, and enjoy lunch overlooking the park’s savanna. In the afternoon, head for an exciting boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you’ll spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of water birds such as kingfishers and fish eagles. Watch herds of impalas and zebras grazing along the shore as the golden light reflects off the calm waters. The experience offers both relaxation and adventure, with opportunities for incredible photography and birdwatching. As the sun sets, return to your lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and take in the tranquil beauty of the park’s evening sounds — a perfect end to your first day in the wild. If time allows, head out for a game walking safari.

Wake up early for a thrilling morning game drive through Lake Mburo National Park. As the sun rises, the savanna comes alive with zebras, giraffes, impalas, elands, and buffaloes grazing peacefully. Keep an eye out for shy leopards or hyenas returning from a night hunt, while colourful birds fill the air with song. After the adventure, return to the lodge for breakfast and a brief rest. Later, check out and begin your scenic drive back to Entebbe, stopping for lunch en route and arriving by evening.
