Kigali to Volcanoes National Park

Your private guide will pick you up from your Kigali hotel and begin the journey with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial, paying tribute to the victims of 1994. Continue northwest through Rwanda’s picturesque countryside for about 2.5 hours to Volcanoes National Park. Arrive in the afternoon, settle into your lodge, and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, transfer to Kinigi Park Headquarters for a pre-trek briefing. You will be assigned to a gorilla family and guided through the rainforest.
