Fly to Jimma & Drive to Chebera Churchura National Park

In the morning, fly to Jimma and continue by road to Chebera Churchura National Park, one of Ethiopia’s most untouched and recently discovered wilderness areas. The park is rich in wildlife, supported by numerous rivers, perennial streams, and four small crater lakes.
Its diverse landscape includes hilly terrain, rolling plains, deep valleys, and river gorges. Chebera Churchura is home to large mammals such as African elephants, Cape buffalo, hippopotamuses, lions, and leopards, and is especially known as one of the best places in Ethiopia to see elephants and buffalo in their natural habitat.
