Morogoro to Mikumi National Park – Game Drive

Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel or residence in Morogoro. Enjoy a scenic drive through the Tanzanian countryside as you make your way to Mikumi National Park (approx. 2 hours).

Upon arrival, check in at the gate and continue with your game drive until lunch time. After lunch, embark on an exciting afternoon game drive through the park.
You’ll have a chance to see elephants, lions, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, impalas, and many other species in their natural habitat.

Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Morning Game Drive & Return to Morogoro

Start your day early with a morning game drive when wildlife is most active. Explore the vast plains of Mikumi National Park, where you’ll have a great chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many other fascinating species roaming freely across the savannah.

Enjoy your packed breakfast and lunch inside the park as you continue your full-day game drive, covering different areas to maximize your wildlife viewing experience. The day is dedicated to exploring the park’s diverse habitats, from open grasslands to acacia woodlands and seasonal rivers.

In the late afternoon, start your journey back and drive to Morogoro Town, where you’ll be dropped off.
