Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Mto wa Mbu

Depart pick up from your Hotel/lodge in Arusha morning and drive to Tarangire National Park, famous for its majestic baobab trees and large elephant population. Enjoy an exciting game drive with chances to spot lions, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, and rich birdlife.
In the late afternoon, continue to Mto wa Mbu for dinner and overnight at Figi Tree Lodge.

After breakfast, head to Lake Eyasi, home to the Hadzabe (Bushmen) and Datoga tribes. Spend the day engaging in an authentic cultural experience, including:

Visiting a Hadzabe community and learning about their ancient hunter-gatherer lifestyle

Joining them on a short hunting or walking experience

Watching traditional fire-making demonstrations

Visiting a Datoga blacksmith workshop

Enjoy a short walking tour around the lakeside before returning to Figi Tree Lodge for dinner and rest.

Ngorongoro Crater – Return to Arusha

Start early and drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most famous wildlife sanctuaries. Descend into the crater for a game drive where you may spot rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, and large herds of grazers.
After lunch, begin your trip back to Arusha and drop off at your hotel/Lodge, marking the end of your enriching cultural and wildlife-filled adventure.
