Begin your day early as your driver-guide collects you for a safari briefing and journey to Murchison Falls in northern Uganda. Your first stop: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola, where you'll trek on foot to observe rhinos being reintroduced to Uganda's wilderness. This experience completes your Big Five adventure, as rhinos are the only member missing from Murchison Falls. Following lunch and relaxation at the sanctuary, travel onward to Murchison Falls, reaching your lodge by evening. Cap off the day with a thrilling evening game drive, searching for nocturnal predators including lions, hyenas, and leopards before returning for dinner.

After an early morning tea or coffee, embark on a game drive to the northern bank of the park in search of lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson's hartebeests, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and diverse bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before your afternoon adventure. In the afternoon, enjoy a three-hour boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch for crocodiles and hippos in the water, while buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants graze and drink along the riverbanks. Disembark for an invigorating hike to the top of the falls, where you'll witness the Nile's powerful cascade from above. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight.

In the afternoon, enjoy a memorable boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where large concentrations of elephants, hippos, buffaloes, and crocodiles gather along the shores. Tree-Climbing Lions in Ishasha and Transfer to Bwindi for a Batwa Community Walk
You will transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park en route to Bwindi. This area is famous for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha, we will embark on an exciting drive across the vast savannah, spotting topis, African elephants, and, with some luck, lions resting high in the fig trees. Lunch will be served in Ishasha before continuing the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
As you travel, you will notice the landscape gradually transform from flat savannahs, through cultivated hills, to the dense, jungle-covered mountains of Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will visit the Batwa forest pygmy community to experience their traditional lifestyle and enjoy a captivating display of their cultural dance.

After breakfast and a briefing by the park ranger guides, you will depart with packed picnic lunch boxes to begin your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can last up to 4 hours or sometimes longer as you navigate slippery slopes and dense, mist-covered vegetation.
This rewarding journey will eventually bring you face-to-face with one of the world’s most remarkable creatures, the mountain gorillas. Upon encountering them, you will have a full hour to observe their behavior, take photographs, and learn more about their social dynamics.
After the trek, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying the scenic drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside.

After an early breakfast, enjoy a morning horseback ride in Lake Mburo National Park, renowned for its zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos, and a variety of tropical bird species.
After the ride, check out of the lodge and begin your transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your evening departure, bidding farewell to the Pearl of Africa. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Equator line to experience the unique sensation of standing at Latitude 0° 0′ 0″.
