After an early morning tea or coffee, embark on a game drive to the northern bank of the park in search of lions, giraffes, oribis, elephants, Jackson's hartebeests, Uganda kobs, buffaloes, and diverse bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation before your afternoon adventure. In the afternoon, enjoy a three-hour boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls. Watch for crocodiles and hippos in the water, while buffaloes, waterbucks, and elephants graze and drink along the riverbanks. Disembark for an invigorating hike to the top of the falls, where you'll witness the Nile's powerful cascade from above. Return to your lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner, and overnight.

You will transfer through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park en route to Bwindi. This area is famous for its tree-climbing lions. In Ishasha, we will embark on an exciting drive across the vast savannah, spotting topis, African elephants, and, with some luck, lions resting high in the fig trees. Lunch will be served in Ishasha before continuing the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

As you travel, you will notice the landscape gradually transform from flat savannahs, through cultivated hills, to the dense, jungle-covered mountains of Bwindi. Upon arrival, you will visit the Batwa forest pygmy community to experience their traditional lifestyle and enjoy a captivating display of their cultural dance.

Dinner and overnight accommodation will be at your lodge.

After breakfast and a briefing by the park ranger guides, you will depart with packed picnic lunch boxes to begin your gorilla trekking adventure. The trek can last up to 4 hours or sometimes longer as you navigate slippery slopes and dense, mist-covered vegetation.

This rewarding journey will eventually bring you face-to-face with one of the world’s most remarkable creatures, the mountain gorillas. Upon encountering them, you will have a full hour to observe their behavior, take photographs, and learn more about their social dynamics.

After the trek, you will transfer to Lake Mburo National Park, enjoying the scenic drive through Uganda’s beautiful countryside.
