Day 1

After enjoying breakfast at your hotel in Arusha, you’ll be picked up by our professional guide as a fresh hot lunch is packed for your day’s adventure. You’ll then begin the scenic 1–2 hour journey to Tarangire National Park, a breathtaking wilderness known for its towering ancient baobab trees and the largest herds of elephants in Tanzania.

As you explore the park, you’ll witness diverse wildlife, sweeping savannahs, and the beautiful Tarangire River that attracts animals throughout the year. After enjoying your packed hot lunch inside the park, your adventure continues with another exciting game drive, offering even more opportunities to spot lions, zebras, giraffes, and an impressive variety of birdlife.

As the day comes to an end, you’ll leave the park and return to Suricata Boma Lodge for a delicious dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, reflecting on the beauty and unforgettable moments experienced in Tarangire National Park.

Day 2

After breakfast, depart for the world-famous Serengeti National Park, traveling through the scenic Ngorongoro Highlands. Along the way, stop at the Ngorongoro Crater rim to admire one of Africa's most breathtaking panoramic views before continuing to the endless plains of the Serengeti. Meaning "endless plains" in the Maasai language, the Serengeti is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including over two million wildebeest, thousands of zebras and gazelles, and the spectacular Great Migration. From January to April, the southern plains become the calving grounds, attracting predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas. Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five, giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and over 500 bird species before heading to your camp or lodge for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Start your day before dawn with an early morning game drive, the best time to witness predators returning from the hunt and herbivores beginning their day. As the sun rises over the African savannah, you'll enjoy breathtaking views and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

After the game drive, return to the camp for breakfast before checking out and continuing to the Ngorongoro Crater. Known as one of Africa's greatest natural wonders, the crater is home to an extraordinary concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and the endangered black rhino. Its diverse habitats—ranging from open grasslands and forests to swamps, rivers, and a soda lake—support an incredible variety of animals throughout the year. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor as you explore this remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site before continuing with your safari adventure.

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

Waking up to the crisp mountain air of the Ngorongoro Highlands, you’ll set off for your descent into the legendary Ngorongoro Crater, one of the eight wonders of the World, with over 120 animal species.

As you explore the crater floor, you’ll find yourself surrounded by thriving herds of wildebeests, zebras, buffaloes, and gazelles, while lions, hyenas, and elephants roam nearby. With a bit of luck, you may even spot the elusive black rhino, one of the crater’s rarest treasures. The mix of open grasslands, sparkling lakes, and towering crater cliffs creates a breathtaking setting for unforgettable wildlife encounters. Around midday, you’ll ascend from the crater floor to our campsite to enjoy a well-deserved lunch.

Later in the afternoon, after after having lunch, you’ll begin your journey back to Arusha, where you’ll be safely dropped at your hotel, bringing with you a heart full of memories and the unmatched beauty of the Tanzania safari still vivid in your mind.
