Arrival & Transition

Upon arrival in the region, a representative will meet you with a sign for identification. You will receive a prearranged private vehicle transfer (typically a 4x4 or van) directly to your lodging. The evening includes settling in, dinner, and a mandatory meeting with your safari guide for the trip briefing.

Napuru Waterfalls Hike

Morning:
You will spend the morning on a guided half-day hike to the stunning Napuru Waterfalls.
This excursion allows you to enjoy the cool forest scenery and the impressive 78-meter cascade, providing a refreshing and active start to the day.

Afternoon:
After the hike, you will have lunch.

In the late afternoon, you will begin the scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will check into your lodge, which will be strategically located either on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim (for immediate views) or in the surrounding Karatu area (known for its farmlands).

Evening: The evening is dedicated to resting and preparing for the major safari activity scheduled for the following day.

Safari and New Year's Celebration

This final day of the year offers an intense safari experience followed by a grand celebration.

Daytime: Ngorongoro Crater Immersion
You will spend the entire day on an early-morning to late-afternoon game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater.
The primary goal is to search for the dense wildlife population, including the rare and endangered black rhino.
A picnic lunch will be enjoyed directly on the crater floor amidst the wildlife.

Evening: New Year's Eve Festivities
The day concludes with a major celebration: a special New Year's Eve Gala Dinner and Party hosted by your lodge.
The evening features festive dining and a memorable countdown celebration to ring in the New Year.
