Begin with an early safari drive across the park in search of elephants, giraffes, antelopes, buffaloes, and possibly lions or hyenas. In the afternoon, board a boat cruise on the Nile to the base of the falls, where the river forces through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular waterfall. Expect hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife along the riverbanks.

Prepare for wildlife viewing the next day.
