Day 1

The incredible journey sets off this morning! Your guide will meet you at your hotel or pick you from the airport and take you on a drive to Tarangire National Park. The 2hours trip offers beautiful views of open savannas, along with glimpses of Maasai villages and livestock grazing along the way. Once you reach the park, you’ll complete your entry registration and immediately begin your wildlife viewing experience.

Tarangire is renowned for its impressive elephant populations and towering baobab trees scattered throughout the landscape. As you explore, you may come across a wide range of wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, cheetahs, pythons resting on tree branches and many countless bird species. Midday, you’ll break for a picnic lunch before continuing your exploration until late afternoon. After the day’s adventure, you’ll head to your lodge to unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

Day 2

Serengeti National park

After enjoying your morning meal, you’ll set off in your safari vehicle for the journey to the legendary Serengeti. The drive, which lasts about four hours, takes you across the scenic slopes of the Ngorongoro highlands. Once you reach the Serengeti, you’ll stop for lunch, settle into your lodge, and then head out for your afternoon wildlife exploration.

The Serengeti is world-famous for its remarkable Great Migration, where immense herds of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope sweep across the plains with an estimated number of over 1.5 million animals that migrate every year. Your guide will take you to prime viewing areas, offering the chance to spot an impressive range of animals such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, buffalo, hippos, gazelles, and many others.

After experiencing the park’s dramatic landscapes and watching the sun set over the savanna, you’ll proceed to your lodge within the park for a delicious dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park then Ngorongoro

Begin your day with a sunrise in the Serengeti. After breakfast you’ll depart early with your packed meals, heading into the plains while the air is still cool and wildlife is most active. This is an ideal time to observe animals on the move, and you may even witness a predator beginning its morning hunt. After exploring various areas of the park, continue your drive toward the Ngorongoro highlands, enjoying shifting landscapes and wildlife sightings along the way.

You will pause at a designated picnic spot inside the Serengeti to have your lunch before continuing the journey. As the afternoon progresses, the environment gradually changes from open savanna to the lush, elevated terrain surrounding Ngorongoro. You will reach your lodge in the evening, where you can unwind, have dinner, and settle in for a restful overnight stay after a full day of adventure.

Day 4

Ngorongoro Crater

After finishing your morning meal, you’ll hop into your safari vehicle and begin the descent into the Ngorongoro Crater for a day of wildlife viewing. This remarkable natural basin, the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera, acts as a sanctuary for an incredible variety of animals.

It is one of the few places where you have an excellent chance of spotting all members of the Big Five during a single outing. The crater floor, dotted with lakes and covered in rich grasslands, is surrounded by steep walls rising about 600 meters, creating one of Africa’s most striking landscapes.

Around midday, you’ll stop at the hippo pool picnic area to enjoy your packed lunch before continuing your exploration. When the afternoon drive concludes, you will make your way back up the crater rim and head to your lodge for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 5

Lake Manyara National Park

After enjoying your morning meal, you’ll set off at about 8:00 a.m. for Lake Manyara National Park. Once you arrive and complete the entry formalities, you’ll begin a full-day exploration lasting roughly seven to eight hours. Lake Manyara is celebrated for its rich mix of habitats, from groundwater forests to open plains and the shimmering soda lake, which often hosts flocks of pink flamingos.

Your skilled guide will navigate through the park in search of its highlights, including the well-known tree-climbing lions and impressive elephant populations. With more than 400 bird species recorded here, the area is also an excellent destination for bird enthusiasts. Around midday, you will pause at a scenic picnic spot inside the park to enjoy your packed lunch before continuing your wildlife viewing. As the day winds down, you’ll exit the park and travel back to Arusha, taking you straight to the airport or to your selected hotel after a rewarding day in nature.
