The Konso people are known for their unique social structure and terracing agricultural practices. 2:00 PM: Enjoy lunch and then resume your drive to Turmi. You will embark on an excursion to Omorate, with a drive time of approximately 3 to 4 hours. You will cross the Omo River by wooden local boat to visit the Dasenach tribe, then return to Turmi in the afternoon. In Turmi, you will visit a nearby Hamar tribe village and may have the chance to witness a special occasion, such as a bull-jumping ceremony, which could be part of a wedding or ritual. The tour will conclude in the evening, around 5:00 to 6:00 PM. You will then head back to Emerald Lodge for the night.

The drive to Karo village takes about 2 to 3 hours. After the visit, you will continue your journey to Jinka, which takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. If there is a market day, you will have the opportunity to explore the market along the way. You may also see the Hamar stick boys on the street. The drive to Jinka and the activities will conclude in the late afternoon, and you will stay overnight at Nasa Hotel.

Today's trek covers a distance of approximately 12 km and takes around 5-6 hours. Meet the friendly gelada baboons, foraging in big groups. Reach a stunning viewpoint at the Jinbar Falls after clambering a few rocks. This waterfall plunges several hundred meters down the escarpment into the abyss.
