Day 1

Your day begins at 6:00 am (pick-up time varies by hotel) for your transfer to the airport for an 8:00 am flight from Zanzibar to Arusha. After landing at 9:15 am, your driver-guide will take you on a 1.5-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, sharing stories about Arusha’s history and Maasai culture along the way.

Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, diverse landscapes, and abundant wildlife. You may spot lions stalking prey or leopards resting in the trees. Enjoy your packed lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon game drive. Around 4:00 pm, you’ll head to your lodge to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.

You’ll start your morning with a warm and delicious breakfast at 7:00 am as you prepare for the final day of your safari adventure. After checking out, you will depart for Lake Manyara National Park, a breathtaking destination set at the foot of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

As you enter the park, your game drive will take you through lush woodlands where you may spot the park’s famous tree-climbing lions, a rare and captivating sight. The area is also home to large elephant families, graceful giraffes, playful baboons, and an impressive variety of birdlife, including flamingos that gather along the lakeshore. Throughout the drive, you’ll experience the peaceful beauty and rich wildlife that make Manyara a true gem of Tanzania’s northern circuit, at the end of the tour you will drive to Arusha airport and catch your flight back to zanzibar and this marks the end of your safari.
