Nairobi to Masai mara

You’ll be picked up from your Nairobi hotel or the airport and begin your drive toward the Masai Mara.
Your first pause is at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint—the perfect spot for panoramic sightseeing and
photos. After the stop, you continue to the Mara and arrive in time for a hot lunch. Later in the
Afternoon, you set out for your first game drive across the open plains. The reserve sits at an altitude of
about 1650m and stretches across 1,510 km², its rolling grasslands dotted with acacia trees and small

Your first drive gives you a taste of the wildlife the Mara is famous for: lions, elephants, zebras,
giraffes, and plenty more grazing or hunting across the landscape.
