Early in the morning, your safari guide will pick you up from your lodge, hotel, or a location near Arusha Airport and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day of game viewing and a picnic lunch. After the game drive, your guide will transfer you to your accommodation for a relaxing overnight stay.

Lake Manyara spans about 330 sq km (127 sq miles), with up to 200 sq km covered by a soda lake during high water levels. The park is ideal for birdwatching and offers excellent wildlife viewing, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, baboons, warthogs, buffaloes, and the famous tree-climbing lions. During the drive, you may also stop at the hippo pool to stretch your legs and watch these impressive animals up close.

After breakfast, we’ll head out for a full-day game drive in the iconic Ngorongoro Crater, taking packed lunches for the journey. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders. It hosts over 30,000 animals, including lions, buffaloes, elephants, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhino. Birdlife is equally impressive, with flamingos, eagles, and buzzards commonly seen. With wildlife concentrated in a small area, you’ll enjoy exceptional close-up sightings throughout the day. After an unforgettable experience, we’ll return to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to a memorable close.
