Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, depart Serengeti and head toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World”. Enjoy a full game drive inside the crater, home to an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, and a variety of bird species. The crater floor offers breathtaking scenery, lush grasslands, and wildlife viewing year-round. Enjoy a bush lunch by the hippo pool before continuing your afternoon exploration. Later in the day, ascend the crater walls and drive to Karatu, where you will check in at your luxury lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

After breakfast, depart your lodge and drive to Lake Manyara National Park, a beautiful park known for its lush groundwater forests, tree-climbing lions, large troops of baboons, and flamingos along the lakeshore. Enjoy a game drive through the park’s diverse habitats and take in the stunning views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. After your safari, exit the park and continue the drive back to Arusha.
