Day 1

Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will be picked up by a Trek Safaris guide from your hotel or residence in Kampala and begin your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park (approx. 6 hours).
Along the way, stop at the Uganda Equator to take photos and enjoy a quick snack. Continue to Mbarara for lunch before resuming the drive, taking in the scenic Ugandan countryside, including long-horned Ankole cattle, tea plantations near Ishaka, and savannah landscapes.
Upon arrival at the park, check in at your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner.

Day 2

Safari Game Drive and Boat Ride on Victoria Nile

After breakfast, set out for an early morning game drive, the best time to observe wildlife as most animals are active. Carnivores may be on the hunt, while prey animals remain alert, offering a thrilling glimpse into the circle of life. Expect to see African elephants, Cape buffaloes, waterbucks, warthogs, lions, hyenas, leopards, Uganda kobs, giant forest hogs, and a variety of savannah birds.

After 2–3 hours in the park, return to your lodge for breakfast and some relaxation. Spend the late morning at leisure by the swimming pool before lunch. In the afternoon, depart at 2:00 pm for a scenic Kazinga Channel boat cruise, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the waterway.
Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe

Transfer from Queen Elizabeth to Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy a final early morning game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering another chance to spot wildlife in the cool morning hours. Return to your lodge to pack and check out. On the way back to Entebbe, stop at the Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch and a brief cultural experience. Continue the journey, arriving at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe International Airport for your onward travel.
