Northern Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to the Northern Serengeti for a game drive near the Mara River, where the migration is usually found in August, in the hope of seeing a river crossing.
The endless plains of the Serengeti are the setting for one of the world’s greatest wildlife spectacles, with about 1.5 million wildebeest migrating in search of fresh pasture. Each year they trek over 2,500 km and are constantly followed by predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver-guide will share the current location of the herds in the Serengeti.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
The Central Serengeti offers excellent game viewing year-round due to its abundance of resident animals. The Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a must-see on every safari, regardless of the month of travel. Game viewing in the Central Serengeti is best during the dry season (June–November), as animals are more concentrated due to limited water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe, while resident carnivores include lion and leopard.
Later in the day, you will transfer to the camp for your overnight stay.

Day 6
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today you will have a half-day game drive in the Serengeti and then drive to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.
There are several documented resident lion prides within a one-hour game drive radius from Seronera. During the dry season, the resident prides begin to shift west and north in their territories and concentrate in the central region of the park, making this a particularly good time for lion viewing in this area. The Central Serengeti is also one of the best places in Africa to spot the elusive leopard. You may be lucky enough to encounter this majestic cat in the branches of the sausage trees that dot the banks of the Seronera River.
Later in the day, you will transfer to a camp near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your overnight stay.

Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha
After breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive.
Often called the “eighth natural wonder of the world,” the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact crater in the world. About two million years ago, the Ngorongoro volcano erupted, and its walls collapsed. The volcano floor sank to create a natural enclosure with 600 m tall walls. Now, over 19 kilometers wide, Ngorongoro Crater contains acacia forests, hippo-filled swamps, and open grasslands. These habitats are home to over 30,000 animals, including elephants, warthogs, flamingos, magnificent birdlife, the rare black rhinoceros, and all the predatory cats. The Maasai can also be seen grazing their cattle alongside buffalo and wildebeest.
Later in the evening, you will drive back to Arusha for drop-off at 4:00 pm or proceed to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home.
