Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. This day is reserved for rest and recovery after your arrival. The lodge is set in a calm environment, allowing you to relax and prepare for the safari ahead. Depending on arrival time, you may enjoy the lodge facilities, gardens, or views of Mount Meru. In the evening, your guide will provide a detailed safari briefing covering the itinerary, wildlife expectations, road conditions and safety information. Dinner will be served at the lodge, followed by an overnight stay in comfortable accommodation.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife areas. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees and diverse landscapes. Enjoy a full-day game drive through open savannahs, seasonal swamps and riverine habitats along the Tarangire River, which attracts wildlife throughout the year. Animals commonly seen include elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo and numerous bird species. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed inside the park, followed by continued exploration in the afternoon. Later, exit the park and drive to your lodge or tented camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After breakfast, begin your journey toward Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro Highlands with scenic views and Maasai settlements along the way. Game viewing begins upon entering the Serengeti, as the vast plains support a high concentration of wildlife. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you travel deeper into the park, spotting predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards, as well as large herds of grazing animals. Arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the afternoon, followed by a short game drive before sunset. Dinner and overnight will be inside the Serengeti.

Day 4

Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Your guide will focus on wildlife hotspots, tracking animal movements to maximize sightings. The central Serengeti is known for its rocky kopjes, which serve as resting points for lions and leopards, while cheetahs are often seen scanning the open plains. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for a hot meal and short rest. The wide landscapes and changing light throughout the day offer excellent photography opportunities. In the evening, return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

Enjoy another full day in the Serengeti, allowing flexibility to explore different areas depending on wildlife activity and seasonal movements. Early morning game drives provide the best opportunity to observe predators hunting or returning from night activity. Large herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles are often encountered across the plains. Lunch will be enjoyed either in the bush or at camp, followed by continued afternoon game viewing. Optional activities such as a hot air balloon safari can be arranged at an additional cost. Dinner and overnight at your Serengeti lodge or tented camp.

Day 6
Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart the Serengeti and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most remarkable wildlife areas. The crater floor supports a dense concentration of animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos and hyenas. Enjoy extensive game viewing across grasslands, wetlands and the soda lake, where flamingos are often seen. A picnic lunch will be served near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and continue to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, drive to Lake Manyara National Park for your final safari experience. The park is known for its diverse ecosystems, ranging from lush groundwater forests to open plains and lakeshore wetlands beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. During your game drive, look for elephants, giraffes, buffalo, baboons and the famous tree-climbing lions, as well as a wide variety of birdlife. After completing the game drive, enjoy lunch before returning to Arusha in your destined desire.
