Game Drive at Lake Manyara National Park & Overnight at Karatu

Depart from Arusha and drive approximately 126 km (2.5–3 hours) to Lake Manyara National Park, a compact yet diverse park set beneath the Great Rift Valley escarpment. Enjoy a rewarding game drive through lush groundwater forests, open savannah, and the lakeshore, where you may spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, large baboon troops, flamingos, and the famous tree-climbing lions. In the late afternoon, exit the park and continue to the nearby town of Karatu for an overnight stay, where you can relax in the cool highlands, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the next day’s safari adventure.
