Begin your day with a 6:00 AM pick-up from your Zanzibar hotel (time may vary) and transfer to the airport for your 8:00 AM Fly-In Safari flight to Central Serengeti (Seronera Airstrip). Arriving at 10:40 AM, your driver-guide will take you on an exciting Serengeti game drive.

Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is famous for the Great Migration, where wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles cross rivers, often facing Nile crocodiles. The Central Serengeti is home to abundant wildlife, including the Big Five: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos.

Enjoy a packed picnic lunch inside the park, then continue a 6+ hour game drive across open plains, kopjes, and riverine areas. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation. Dinner is served between 7:00–9:30 PM, followed by an overnight stay in the Serengeti, concluding a thrilling day in Tanzania’s iconic wilderness.

Awaken to the sounds of the Serengeti as birdsong fills the air, and enjoy a hearty breakfast before departing at 7:00 AM for a full morning game drive. Today focuses on spotting the iconic Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos—within the abundant wildlife of Central Serengeti, offering superb opportunities for photography and close wildlife encounters.

After a picnic lunch in the park, continue a scenic transfer game drive toward the Ngorongoro area. Arrive at your lodge before sunset to take in the stunning views, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the beauty of Tanzania’s wilderness.

Rise early for breakfast before embarking on a morning game-drive transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy stunning sunrise views from Safari Lodge Ngorongoro as you drive about 30 minutes to the crater. Mornings offer fewer crowds, beautiful light, and highly active wildlife.

Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera, spans 20 kilometers, descends 600 meters, and covers 300 square kilometers of breathtaking scenery. Explore its diverse habitats, including Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwest, home to black rhinos, flamingos, hippos, and numerous waterbirds.

Spend the day on a game drive across the crater floor, encountering abundant wildlife. In the late afternoon, exit the crater and transfer back to Arusha, concluding a remarkable day of wildlife and scenery.
