Arrival in Arusha and Game Drive in Tarangire National Park

You will be transferred from your hotel in Zanzibar to the airport, where you will fly into Arusha airport. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide and begin your journey toward Tarangire National Park. This beautiful park is known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. The drive will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages before entering the park.

Once inside, you will enjoy an exciting game drive across the savannah plains and along the Tarangire River, where many animals gather to drink. You may spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and various antelope species, as well as predators such as lions. The park is also rich in birdlife, making it a great destination for bird enthusiasts. You will stop for a picnic lunch inside the park, before continuing with the days game drive.

After the game drive, you will be transferred to Escarpment Luxury Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game Drive in Ngorongoro Crater then transfer back to Zanzibar

After an early breakfast, you will start your drive to the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater and descend into this remarkable natural wonder for a morning game drive. The crater is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including the Big Five, offering excellent opportunities to see lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, wildebeest and many other species. You may also be lucky enough to spot the endangered black rhino. The crater floor features diverse habitats including open grasslands, acacia woodlands and a soda lake that attracts flamingos and other bird species.

After enjoying a picnic lunch in the crater, you will ascend the crater walls and transfer to Arusha airport for your scheduled flight back to Zanzibar. From here, you will be transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable safari adventure.
