1-Day Full-Day Ngorongoro Crater Safari

The Ngorongoro Crater Day Tour begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you will descend about 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater hosts an incredible concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and the rare black rhinoceros. During the game drive, your professional guide will share knowledge about the ecosystem, wildlife behavior, and conservation efforts. You may also spot flamingos and other birdlife around Lake Magadi. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed at a designated site inside the crater. After lunch, the safari continues with more game viewing before ascending the crater and returning to Arusha in the late afternoon, concluding a memorable wildlife experience.
