Nairobi to Samburu Np

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive north through central Kenya, passing through Thika, Karatina, and Nanyuki with views of Mount Kenya on a clear day. Arrive in Samburu National Reserve in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After some rest, head out for an afternoon game drive along the Ewaso Nyiro River, where you may spot elephants, crocodiles, and unique species such as Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, and gerenuk. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight in Samburu.

Samburu Np Ful Exploration

Spend the day exploring Samburu National Reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. The reserve is less crowded and offers excellent wildlife viewing, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, and large herds of elephants. Between game drives, relax at the lodge and enjoy the rugged semi-arid landscape and Samburu cultural atmosphere. Optional visits to a Samburu village can be arranged. Dinner and overnight stay in Samburu.

Samburu Np to Lake Naivasha/Hell's gate visit

After an early breakfast, depart Samburu and drive south towards the Great Rift Valley, enjoying scenic views along the way. Arrive at Lake Naivasha in the afternoon and check in at your lodge. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, getting close to hippos and a wide variety of birdlife such as fish eagles, pelicans, and cormorants. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha.

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara Np

After breakfast, visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a guided walk or cycling experience among dramatic gorges, geothermal features, and wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes. Late morning, depart Naivasha and drive to Masai Mara National Reserve, passing through Narok town. Arrive in the Mara in the late afternoon, check in at your camp or lodge, and enjoy a short evening game drive. Dinner and overnight in the Masai Mara.

Spend the entire day on game drives in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s top wildlife destinations.
