Day 2

After breakfast, your Seresafari Africa guide will pick you up from your hotel and depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Maasai villages and beautiful landscapes. Famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire is one of Tanzania's finest wildlife destinations.

Enjoy a full-day game drive in search of elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, impalas, and a wide variety of birdlife. The Tarangire River attracts wildlife throughout the year, making it an excellent place for unforgettable sightings. After a picnic lunch and an afternoon game drive, continue to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart for the Ndutu region, located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem. The scenic drive takes approximately three hours through the beautiful landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive around Lake Ndutu, an alkaline lake that attracts a remarkable variety of wildlife.

From December to April, the Ndutu plains become the heart of the Great Migration as thousands of wildebeests and zebras gather for the calving season. This incredible wildlife spectacle also attracts predators such as lions, cheetahs, leopards, and hyenas, making it one of the best times for thrilling game viewing. If traveling between January and March, you may witness the remarkable calving season, when thousands of wildebeest calves are born each day. Descend 600 meters into the crater for an unforgettable game drive. This natural wildlife sanctuary is home to elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, hyenas, and, with a bit of luck, the endangered black rhino. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor and an afternoon of exceptional wildlife viewing, drive to your lodge in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.
