Best Time Adventures will pick you up from Arusha, Kilimanjaro Airport, or your hotel in and around Arusha. Enjoy a scenic 2.5-hour drive through beautiful landscapes before arriving at Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive before stopping for lunch at a picnic site. After lunch, continue with an afternoon game drive.
Tarangire National Park lies 115 km south of Arusha and covers 2,850 sq. km along the Tarangire River, the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and tree-climbing African pythons. Wildlife concentrations here during the dry season rival those of the Ngorongoro Crater.
In the late afternoon, head to Ngedere Lodge and Campsite to relax and enjoy dinner prepared by your private cook.

After a hearty breakfast, your adventure continues as you set off toward the legendary Serengeti. A scenic four-hour drive brings you into the heart of this iconic wilderness, where you’ll enjoy lunch before heading out on an exciting afternoon game drive.
The Serengeti is celebrated for its endless open plains, rolling savannahs, and pockets of lush forest. It is world-famous for the Great Migration, an awe-inspiring natural spectacle involving nearly 1.5 million grazing animals accompanied by thousands of predators, all moving in rhythm with the seasons. As the northern hills grow dry, the herds travel south, returning through the western corridor when the rains arrive around mid-April.
As evening approaches, you’ll arrive at your campsite deep within the Serengeti. Settle into your comfortable tent and unwind as our expert chef prepares a delicious dinner, the perfect end to a remarkable day in the wild.

Day four begins with an early morning game drive across the Serengeti, when the wildlife is most active and the golden light brings the landscape to life. After this unforgettable experience, you’ll depart the Serengeti and travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy a satisfying dinner and settle in for the night at Simba Campsite.
Today also introduces your first breathtaking view of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders and the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Before reaching this remarkable site, you’ll savor one more game drive through the Serengeti, soaking in the rich diversity of wildlife and scenery. It’s a day filled with discovery, adventure, and remarkable encounters with nature.

After breakfast, you’ll depart for Lake Manyara National Park for a full-day game drive filled with discovery and scenic beauty. The park is famous for its breathtaking views, flowing waterfalls, clear winding streams, and natural hot springs that add to its tranquil atmosphere.
Set between the dramatic cliffs of the Great Rift Valley and the calm waters of Lake Manyara, this park is uniquely diverse in both landscape and wildlife. Its open plains, dense forests, and lakeshore create an ideal habitat for a wide variety of animals. Lake Manyara is especially known for its rich birdlife, with more than 400 species recorded, including vibrant flamingos and impressive pelicans.
During your game drive, you’re likely to spot large elephant families, towering giraffes, hippos cooling off in the water, powerful buffaloes, and herds of impalas roaming the plains. As the day draws to a close, you’ll return to Arusha, bringing your safari adventure to a memorable end.
