After an early breakfast, depart Arusha town with your Armadillo Adventures guide and drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic wildlife parks. Enjoy a full game drive through vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and known for large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, and abundant birdlife. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park, allowing you to take in the peaceful surroundings. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for your overnight stay, where you can relax and reflect on your first safari experience together.

The crater’s dramatic landscapes and rich ecosystems create a truly intimate safari experience. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. In the afternoon, ascend the crater walls and return to Karatu for a relaxed evening at your lodge, bringing the day to a memorable close.

In the evening, explore the charming streets at your leisure and immerse yourselves in local culture with a tasting of traditional Swahili dishes at the vibrant Forodhan Gardens night market. Sample fresh seafood, exotic spices, and tropical flavors while soaking in the lively atmosphere—a perfect end to a day that blends adventure, culture, and romance.
