Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley toward the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. Enjoy beautiful landscapes along the way as you pass local villages and rolling hills. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch, followed by a short rest. In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the vast Mara plains, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and numerous plains game. As the sun sets, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. An optional sundowner experience can be arranged to enjoy drinks while watching the African sunset.

Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, allowing you to cover different wildlife-rich areas of the reserve. The Mara is renowned for its high concentration of predators and spectacular wildlife encounters. Guests may choose an optional early morning hot air balloon safari, offering breathtaking aerial views of the savannah followed by a champagne bush breakfast. Later in the day, an optional visit to a Maasai village can be arranged to learn about the culture, traditions, and lifestyle of the Maasai people. Dinner and overnight at the lodge or camp.

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and drive toward the Kenya–Tanzania border at Isebania. After border formalities, continue into Tanzania and proceed to Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing en route. Arrive at your lodge or camp in the Serengeti in the afternoon, with wildlife sightings possible along the way. The Serengeti is famous for its endless plains and incredible wildlife diversity. Enjoy an afternoon game drive before dinner and overnight at the camp.

Between game drives, enjoy meals and relaxation at the camp, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness. Dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti as you travel toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Ngorongoro region later in the day and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive or enjoy crater rim views, depending on timing. The crater is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s best wildlife viewing areas, home to elephants, lions, rhinos, buffaloes, and flamingos. Dinner and overnight at a lodge near the crater rim or nearby area.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area – Arusha

The enclosed ecosystem offers excellent chances to see the Big Five in a single morning. Later, ascend from the crater and drive to Arusha, arriving in the afternoon. Drop-off at your hotel or the airport marks the end of your cross-border safari adventure.
