Day 2
Northern Serengeti to Central Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will be driving for a game drive in the northern part of Serengeti where you will have a game drive near the Mara River in the hopes of seeing some of the migratory crossings. Overnight at Lodge
The endless plains of Serengeti are also the setting for the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle – the 1.5 million wildebeest endless migration in search of fresh pastures. Each year they trek over 2,500km and are constantly threatened and followed by some of Africa’s greatest predators. Depending on the time of your visit, your driver guide will be able to share with you where the herd’s current location is at Serengeti.

Day 3
Central Serengeti National Park to Karatu
Central Serengeti National Park to Karatu
After breakfast, you will do a game drive at Central Serengeti National Park.
The Central Serengeti offers superb game viewing all year round due to its abundance of resident animals. Specifically, the Seronera River Valley in the Central Serengeti is a ‘must see’ on every safari regardless of the specific month of travel. Game viewing in Central Serengeti is at its best during the dry season as resident animals are more concentrated in the immediate area due to the lack of water on the plains. Resident herbivores include impala, buffalo, hippo, warthog, topi, hartebeest, and giraffe. Resident carnivores include lions and leopards.
After the game drive, you will transfer by road to your hotel for an overnight stay at the accommodation outside the park in Karatu.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar Airport
Ngorongoro Crater to Zanzibar Airport
After breakfast, descend into the stunning Ngorongoro Crater for an early morning game drive, home to the “Big Five” and diverse wildlife. Stop for a picnic by a lake where hippos, flamingoes, and storks gather. Explore the crater for 4–5 hours before returning to Arusha Airport to catch your flight back to Zanzibar, concluding your unforgettable safari adventure.
