Nairobi/Mombasa/Diani - Tsavo East National Park

You will be met by a Marula Horizon Safaris representative at your hotel or airport in Nairobi, Mombasa, or Diani and depart for Tsavo East National Park. Enjoy scenic stopovers along the way for photos and refreshments. Upon arrival, embark on a morning private game drive until 12:00 PM, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, wildebeest, and a variety of birds. After the game drive, check in at Voi Wildlife Camp for lunch and a short rest. Optional relaxation at the camp before dinner and overnight stay.

Tsavo East NP - Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

After breakfast, embark on a morning private game drive in Tsavo East, spotting lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, impalas, hartebeests, and a variety of birdlife. Take in the park’s scenic landscapes and visit highlights such as Mzima Springs. Check out at 11:00 AM and transfer to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.

Upon arrival in Taita Hills, enjoy a delicious lunch at Taita Hills Safari Resort, set on the edge of the sanctuary with beautiful views and a relaxed atmosphere. After lunch, head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the rolling hills, acacia woodlands, and hidden valleys where you may see giraffes, zebras, elands, kudu, buffalo, and many bird species. In the evening, return to Saltlick Lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by picturesque scenery and abundant wildlife.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary - Nairobi/Mombasa/Diani

Start the day with a pre-breakfast game drive at 6:00 AM, exploring Taita Hills’ scenic hills, valleys, and waterholes. After breakfast, continue your morning game drive until 10:00 AM, spotting lions, buffalo, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, monkeys, and other wildlife. Check out by 10:00 AM and begin the journey back to your pickup city. You will be dropped off at your original pickup location (Nairobi, Mombasa, or Diani). Please note: drop-off at a location different from the initial pickup may attract a free-run fee.

This marks the end of your Tsavo East & Taita Hills safari. If time allows, the trip can be extended to explore additional destinations or tailor the itinerary to your interests.
