Nairobi - Masai Mara

Your 3-Day Trails of the Masai Mara adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, driving through the scenic Great Rift Valley with brief photo stops along the way. You’ll arrive in the Masai Mara in time for lunch and a short rest at your lodge or tented camp.

In the afternoon, set out on your first game drive within the reserve. This introductory safari offers excellent chances to spot elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and a variety of plains game, while keeping an eye out for predators beginning their evening hunt. As the sun sets over the rolling grasslands, you’ll return to camp for dinner and an overnight stay, accompanied by the distant sounds of the African wilderness.

Full-day game viewing

Early in the morning, you will have game drive at the conservancy, thereafter you will enjoy a heraty breakfast. You will then head out for a full day of exploration in the Masai Mara, carrying a packed picnic lunch to maximize time in the reserve. Today is dedicated to deep game viewing across different habitats, from open plains to riverine forests along the Mara River. You may witness large prides of lions, cheetahs scanning the horizon, leopards resting in trees, and, seasonally, the dramatic wildebeest and zebra river crossings. The day unfolds at a relaxed pace, allowing for photography, wildlife observation, and appreciation of the Mara’s immense biodiversity. Later in the evening, you’ll return to camp to freshen up before enjoying dinner and sharing safari stories around the campfire.

Masai Mara - Nairobi

Rise early for a final morning game drive within the conservancy, when wildlife activity is at its peak and the soft morning light offers perfect photographic moments. This drive provides a last opportunity to encounter species you may have missed and to soak in the beauty of the Mara at dawn. After breakfast back at camp, you’ll check out and begin the journey back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon with unforgettable memories of the 3-Day Trails of the Masai Mara and its iconic wildlife landscapes.
